We're hiring skilled backend engineers to join our client’s team and help build powerful, scalable systems that support a global user base in the fast-moving world of crypto and web3. You’ll work on complex, high-impact challenges involving secure cloud infrastructure, near real-time data flows, and large-scale distributed systems.

You’ll be part of a team driving the evolution of user-facing tools and decentralized applications, creating seamless access to the world of digital assets. From secure wallets to advanced trading experiences and smart contract integration, your work will directly shape how people interact with blockchain-based technologies.

As a Blockchain Backend Engineer, you will play a key role in shaping the architecture of a leading platform in the decentralized finance space. Your mission is to evolve and scale backend systems by breaking down legacy monolithic structures into modern, service-oriented architectures. You'll partner closely with engineers, product managers, designers, and leadership to translate vision into action—crafting a roadmap that delivers high-impact features and robust infrastructure.

You’ll be responsible for delivering clean, tested, and secure backend code that powers mission-critical applications. Your work will directly support millions of users engaging with blockchain-based tools, smart contracts, and crypto infrastructure—bringing real-world financial access to a new generation of users.

Technical Skills:

• 6+ years of experience in software development, ideally in fast-paced or high-growth environments

• Proven track record in designing, building, and maintaining scalable backend services

• Strong understanding of service-oriented architecture (SOA) and experience decomposing monoliths into microservices

• Proficiency in modern programming languages such as Golang, Ruby, or Python, with testing and security top of mind

• Experience with containerized applications (e.g., Docker) and databases like Postgres, MongoDB, or Redshift

• Familiarity with blockchain technologies and protocols (Bitcoin, Ethereum, etc.) is a plus

• Bonus: Experience with onchain interactions (ENS, dApps, wallets) and building financial or security-critical systems

• Visionary mindset: able to define long-term backend architecture goals and scalability paths

• Strong collaboration skills across cross-functional teams, including engineering, product, and leadership

• Passion for innovation, open systems, and the promise of decentralized technologies

• Comfortable working in ambiguous environments where speed and experimentation are key

• Commitment to writing high-quality, well-tested code with a focus on user needs and system reliability
