Human Resource Lead (Based in London)

Why This Role Matters

We’re partnering with one of the world’s most innovative trading technology firms operating in the digital asset space. This company leads the way in algorithmic trading and liquidity provision across both centralized and decentralized platforms. With a global presence and an entrepreneurial spirit, they’re deeply involved in building the blockchain ecosystem through investments, partnerships, and incubation of new ventures.

They are now looking for an HR Lead to take full ownership of the People function. This is not your typical HR role — it’s a strategic, high-impact position within a fast-paced, high-performance environment where company culture and values are considered a core competitive advantage.

The Role

As HR Lead, you’ll be responsible for both shaping and scaling the company's people and culture strategy, while also rolling up your sleeves to manage operational HR activities across the full employee lifecycle. You’ll work closely with senior leaders, act as a partner to managers, and be an advocate for a deliberate, high-performance culture.

What You’ll Do

  • Scale and operationalize the company’s core values and cultural principles.

  • Lead and implement initiatives that align with the company's ways of working.

  • Partner with leadership on learning & development initiatives.

  • Support team leads in people management and team performance.

  • Own the performance and compensation review cycles, including analysis of feedback data.

  • Manage day-to-day HR operations, including onboarding/offboarding, documentation, payroll coordination, and visa/relocation processes.

  • Identify and execute process improvements, automation opportunities, and HR tech enhancements.

  • Act as a go-to person for employee support, engagement, and feedback.

  • Coordinate global HR activities, including alignment with international teams.

You Bring

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (MBA or continued education is a plus).

  • 5–8 years in a high-performance environment (e.g., trading, tech, consulting), either in an HR role or a strategy/operations role with strong interest in people and culture.

  • Proven experience in areas such as performance management, compensation, HR operations, and employee experience.

  • A hands-on, ownership mindset: willing to take initiative and execute from start to finish.

  • Strong analytical skills and confidence working with spreadsheets and compensation data.

  • Comfortable with HR systems and tech automation; quick to learn new tools.

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal — able to adapt across functions and seniority levels.

  • Strategic thinking with a commercial mindset and cross-functional understanding.

  • Enthusiasm for building and maintaining a high-performance culture.

The Offer

  • Join one of the most forward-thinking trading tech firms globally.

  • Gain ownership and responsibility from day one.

  • Be part of a collaborative, non-hierarchical, high-performing team culture.

  • Work in a vibrant, centrally located London office (with plenty of perks like team events, games, and more).

  • Competitive performance-based compensation, including pension, private health insurance, and significant earning potential.

  • Flexibility to grow the role and shape the future of the People function.
